Cookie policy

By MenoVerdict editorial team

Notice: This is a working legal draft, written to describe what this site actually stores in your browser today. It is scheduled for review by a qualified lawyer before it is treated as final.

We believe that privacy is preserved by not collecting data in the first place. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site behavioral tracking scripts, or session-replay tools.

We don't currently set any cookies

This site has no accounts and no server-side sessions today, so it has no need for session cookies, authentication cookies, or any other cookie. If that changes — for example, once real sign-in exists — it will only ever be a strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in, never one used for advertising or cross-site tracking, and we'll update this notice first.

What we do store in your browser

Rather than sending anything to a server, a few features save information directly inside your browser, using two built-in browser storage technologies — never a cookie:

  • IndexedDB: used by the symptom tracker and doctor report and related tools to hold your daily entries and generate appointment summaries, entirely on your device. We have no server that receives or can read this.
  • Local storage: used for small, non-health conveniences on this browser only, such as remembering your cookie choice below, your saved article bookmarks, and which symptoms you've pinned.

You can inspect, export, or clear any of this at any time, either through your browser's own developer settings or the delete-all-data control inside the app.

Managing your choices

Because this site sets no cookies and runs no analytics today, the "Accept" or "Reject" choice on the banner has no effect beyond dismissing it and remembering your answer so we don't ask again. If we later add basic, privacy-friendly, non-health analytics, we will make that choice meaningful first and say so here. Either choice will never stop you from reading an article or using any on-device tool.
